I think I like her again. Just a little bit.

Because she’s letting me take pictures of her after about two years of running away from me..If there’s one way to get around this cranky Mumma, it’s to let me take pictures of you.
And isn’t she lovely?

Yes, but she can do it better than other babies.

My wee Ivy is CRAWLING!!!!! Well, kinda. She’s about to aneee second, I swear. She can rock like a pro. She can belly flop from here to the other side of the room in the blink of an eye. She can flap and roll and perch up on hands and feet…We’re that close to crawling!

Just when I was about to give him away…

Luca comes good and goes and makes us breakfast!! Yes, the whole thing…start to finish! I was so impressed – wholemeal toast with a mangy patch of Vegemite never tasted so good! And Veggie Chips at 8am? Mmmm, why not?
It’s days like these I ponder how he’s no longer a little boy and then my heart hurts, just a little bit.

Where oh where is my baby?

I once had a delightful child, her name was Ava. So gorgeous was she that I even went and had another baby, just so I could get another one like her. Then one day she underwent a transformation. She became 2.5. And things got ugly. Now I’m left with this other woman in my house who is demanding, self centered and the epitome of stubborn. We clash once every 43 seconds and she’s even taken a swing a few times. Yes, all my prayers were answered when I was given a daugter BUT no amount of frou frou makes THIS stage bearable. Counting the seconds until she’s 5.

Here is the offender herself, taken today.. A brief moment inbetween threats and bribes.
