I needed to do a few printer test shots this morning and Ivy was the nearest (and cutest) thing around… A whole memory card later I’ve fogotten about the printer and am lost for the rest of the day in processing her sweet little self.
Can I just say, she’s obviously the most adorable baby to have ever graced Earth but you might not realise she’s actually got the most incredible personality to boot. She’s just so sweet and serene and funny and easy..she’s perfectly perfect. Not a day goes by where I don’t look at her and think “maybe just one more??”.
(Yes, I am terribly sleep deprived and insanity looms).

My princess Ava was attacked by the swingset on Wednesday. There is nothing more terrifying than when your kids run in saying “MUMMMM…AVA’S CUT HER HEAD REAAAAALLLLY BAD”. When Grandad carried her in, I actually backed away when I saw her – I just wasn’t prepared for all that blood. Cuts to the head are espescially cruel, they bleed like crazy and horrify Mothers when in fact the injury itself is realtively minor…She seemed quite fine but I still rushed her to the doctor where she dined on jelly beans and sympathy. Luckily we had no stitches, just an enormous plaster – here are the pictures to prove it. I’m wishing I looked so glamorous with a whacking big bandage on my face!.
One day my love loved me, and a while later came a much bigger love – so completely profound, whole, natural, terrifying and true.
I marvel at how lucky am i. how lucky are they. if not for that loving on those very days, would they still be? i dare not imagine otherwise.
Ivy, Mason and I visited Sherrie in her brothers apartment on Magic Mountain. Next year she’ll marry Javier there. It’s so beautiful, with the Pacific Ocean all around – I can’t wait to do their photos!
Ivy lay around on the carpet, taking in the views. I can never resist picking up the camera when she’s around!
