Children are amazing.

is what Ava announced today. It’s no coincidence that many of my Ava photos are of her jumping – bed, lounge, her Dad’s back…they’re all fair game. The only reason she’s almost nakie is because we were inbetween the 19th wardrobe change of the day. I do love her concept though – jumping means you come back down again, flying indicates she’ll just keep on going. Soar, sweet child, soar.

Well actually, we usually call her Brigitte – as in Bardot – but here she’s a little more Marilyn, don’t you think? Every day she gets a little bit older, wiser and able to outsmart me.
Before we argued over what she’d wear each day – now she just goes off and gets her self dressed, head to toe, while I’m not looking. Brave would be the woman who’d try and wrestle her out of her chosen ensemble de jour.
I’d forgive her anything though – what a gorgeous little creature she is.
