Three in the bed.
She sleeps in our bed.
And takes up most of it.
She chats in the wee hours.
And plays with my hair.
She never sleeps in.
So nor do we.
But she loves it and we love it so what are you gonna do?
Here’s bedtime which looks nothing like reading books in soft whispers.
These are snaps taken while I video’d her singing. She learns Japanese at school and I make her sing this song at least every other day. And when she’s not singing it, my brain recounts it. Over. and over. and over.
Here’s recording attempt No 1. Complete with gangsta style intro. And no, I don’t know why either.

Ivy is so darn cute! I love this! Good to know we aren’t the only ones with a child in our bed (actually make that x 2 …. I like to think I’m doing my bit for the environment by saving electricity on the washing of the sheets :)

Love it! I know exactly how you feel with the 3 in bed! My children just rotate coming in and out of my bed at all hours of the night. No sleep for me here. :P

My daughter is 2 years old, and she has also been sleeping in our bed lately. It all began on a day she fell ill, and though she’s all better now we don’t care to change things. We love the company! :)

Oh my! Just so cute Sheye. That is also where our Marino sleeps too. Well, not your bed but ours…Wouldn’t change it for the world best thing ever. Can’t wait for him to get home to watch this. I can picture his face already.xxx

Ivy is just adorable Sheye! Your bedtime and nights sound just like ours. Last night Andrew & I had about 30cm each on the edges of our bed with Briar (+ Spangle) and Naima (+ Gretel & Piggy) taking up the vast expanse in the middle. Still, there is nothing sweeter :) x

We have a trio in our bed too…our 3.5 year-old crumb is our cuddly ‘wedge’ and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I beg my husband if our 1 year old can sleep on the bed with us. It’s the best feeling in the world – even if your neck is so stiff in the morning. Even if you lose circulation on your arm.
