I can totally relate! I have 4 males in our family and they constantly choose public places to become the noisiest…rowdiest…most obnoxious! The public display fuels them~
LOL!! I know you love your boys. :) btw…saw some awesome images of you and Krysta over on Tara Whitneys blog. those images are simply wonderful!
have a great day!

Lol!
I can get with that!!! I grew up with FIVE older brothers – and I am the baby and the only girl! There was much of the above going on at our house twenty-four-seven; and when I think about it, I SMILE with love and gratitude!
ha ha….its quite funny looking at the contrast of pictures from this post and your last….Ivy looks so quiet and serene and then there are your ruacous boys…..makes me all the more curiouser to find out what the new addition will be in three weeks time…..if only i could find the sealed envelope from the twenty week ultrasound….all would be revealed….ahhh my husband knows me all too well, he has hidden it!
great shots by the way!!!
Hi Sheye, was thinking of you last night when I heard on the news about new seatbelt laws and they mentioned that little girl ‘Belle’, it was such a coincidence because I was only just telling a friend about what happened to her the other day and now they seem to have made some progress with the laws etc, such good news. Hope you’re doing well and the reno’s are almost done :) Will have to come visit some time and see it when it’s done! I would love to see little miss pixie now, mum told me she reminds her of baby Indy :) hehe. xo
i don’t even quite know what to say…just a few hours ago i saw your amazingly beautiful photo shoot with your best friend on tara whitney’s blog and it lead me here where for the last couple of hours i have read with my breath held and goose bump covered about your great loss. the loss of your B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L super princess ava. it has touched me so deeply, my heart physically hurting…but your stories of ava and the love projected from them compelled me to continue on reading. the pain you and your family have endured is hard to imagine…i have three beautiful children (2 boys and then “my girl”), who are my world. as a mother, as someone who has carried a child growing inside her cannot fathom such a loss. your story has also touched me deeply because almost 6 years ago my dear friend lost her daughter, age two, to a terrible accident. where in just minutes her life was changed FOREVER. her daughter had wandered off and drowned in a pool. she, like you, was a great mother and took saftey with her children. but it can happen to anyone…i went through many rough times with her and since have shared many happy ones too. but there will always be life “before” that tragic day and the “after”. her too says …”it is what it is”, but what it is truly (pardon me) SUCKS! her daughter was physically a stunning child and was a gift to her family, my girlfriend adored her. after two boys (who she loves greatly), her girl, her daughter who she wished for, was her light, just like ava to you. sharing of your raw, true emotions is so touching to me…. i will pray for you and your family as i do for my dear friend and all who have lost a child…this should NEVER be. (i lost a brother, and until i had my first child, a boy, really couldn’t know the all encompassing love a mother holds. i ached more for the loss my mother has had to endure) she is an amazing and loving woman who i am lucky to have as a mother…ava is lucky to have you as a mother, just as you know you are lucky to have ava. i now too feel lucky to “know” ava…she has touched me so very deeply. it is in your telling of her that makes it so…thank you so very much for sharing her. you said in a post “All I can do is keep sharing what I have learnt..to remind every person out there who does have all their children to just be so, so thankful, to let go of the small stuff and to trust me when I say you have absolutely everything you need.” i will go now with your reminder and be grateful and kiss my 3 beautiful and healthy children, and hug them a little tighter because of you and ava.
again thank you!
love and prayers from NJ, U.S.A

Oh my…..although I know boys are a noise with dirt on it….they look as though they were having a great time goofing about!!:) xo
LOVE those boys – this sort of stuff is an everyday occurrence here!!
I’ve never tried that combination of actions…I used Circa 1963 with grain + Hazey on my latest post, and Paint it Black + Softly and Zap + Caramel Overlay. LOVE♥
So cute! I can totally relate – I live in a house of all boys…even the dog!! They love to try and embarass mommy. Although, sometimes my 4 year old sticks up for me (a little too much) and gets mad at everyone because *mommy doesn’t like it!*. You’ve gotta love the boys being boys. :) Love the combo of actions too – quite beautiful.
Good to see that that recipe being used. We use it a lot in our family…
what a great recipe!! the processing is fantastic. xo
Boys will be boys & age doesn’t come in to it at all! My boys hubby included do the same thing! Love your processing on these Sheye xx
I love these. They’re perfect. Perfectly imperfect. There is love there and it’s real.
On a different note…when I go to your contact page, nothing comes up?? I had a question regarding your eyecandy actions (which I LOVE by the way and I think you’re a genius for creating them, and I’m sure I’m not doing them justice, but I will keep trying and I love it when you tell us readers what actions you use under your photos – it’s helpful for girls like me ;). I bought the actions and use them on an old version of photoshop and was wondering what happens if I purchase a newer version of photoshop? Is that a silly question? It could easily be…I apologize if it is, I just don’t want to lose them.
Dear Sheye,
I really loved the posting below this one. I am going to participate in a conference about pediatric cancer, grief and hope, and that posting is a perfect fit with what we are going to share.
I gave you an award (on my blog) today. You inspire and delight me with your images and your thoughts. Thank you!
I love this x
Heya Sheye….Boys will be boys! Love the grain effect on the pics. Nice x
