All I Need.
I won’t lie. It’s been a struggly week.
My beloved is in California while I’m in Renovation Town.
I’m accessing the top floor of my house via a ladder.
Don’t Look Down has become my new mantra.
I’d stay downstairs except there is no downstairs.
This is no longer very much fun.
but, the upside?
When I do find my way upstairs, it’s starting to look a little pretty and the happy minutes we spent in here yesterday made me remember that none of it really matters anyway.
Renovation or not, I have absolutely everything I need.

Simply divine.
I loooove the bathtub, it’s so pretty! Reno’s will be tough but I am absolutely certain it will be worth it!
Please check out my blog if you get the chance :)
Oh my goodness…. is this your new bath?
Amazing! I hope it’s all worth it. xx
I love that second pic…adorable!
Remodeling sucks…. but it will totally be worth it!
Once it’s all done, you’ll be glad you did it- i’i sure! Just keep the finish line in mind!
God bless you!
:)
Ivy is starting to look very grown up (and is resembling Mason more and more!)
Beautiful child, beautiful bathtub.
Divine Words.
Divine Images.
Sigh!
I just came out on the other side of a renovation (well, actually, I believe we’ll never totally be done but we are done enough for now!) and I can tell you it is all really worth it in the end!
So beautiful, the photos and your words. I have to admit they made me a little teary xx

P.S. Can I come take a bubble bath in your lovely tub?? :)
Hmmm…thats funny, the above post is mine, but Katherine’s name & website was already entered into the “name” bar and I clicked okay before I noticed??!! :S I don’t know who she is…Strange!!

Married to a builder, I have lived in a constant state of renov for 5 years, so I really feel your pain!
Ivy + bathtub = adorable!!
“I have absolutely everything I need.”
Yes you certainly do!
These images speak. The light and subject are just bootiful :)
Ooooh Sheye, I have a bath like this too. When we first moved into our house the first thing I wanted to do was have a bath (that was pre kids and I’d put on nice music and light candles *bliss*). I so love these shots – so pure. Hope next week is kinder to you.
Marsha xx
I feel for you Sheye-it must be difficult-but you will be finished one day, and I think if these shots are anything to go by, it will be so worthwhile:) Gorgeous Little Miss Ivy-she is just adorable!! Oh, and possibly cheeky??,lol xoxox

Oh sheye, Ivy looks simply gorgeous, as always.
Love the bath. I am quite jealous of it. seems as though Ivy is quite happy with it too?
Gorgeous photos Sheye! Renovations are frustrating aren’t they? Losing yourself in your children and your photography is a great distraction.
Yep, all I need is that tub! Love love love. I have the hexagon tiles in my bathroom (just a little bigger size), too. When you find a good trick for keeping it nice and clean with children – keep a girl posted. I’d love to know. :)
this is gorgeous!!! I love that tub!!!!! : )
I have a crush on Miss Ivy. If you ever grow tired of her (not likley, I know) please send her to me immediatley via Fed Ex :) PS: Renovations are the Devil but you will make it!
Oh wow! That bathtub is gorgous! And Ivy is absolutely adorable!! These made me smile :D
I dream of having a tub like that! You probably feel like the lady in the movie The Money Pit (check it out if you haven’t seen it! You’ll get a laugh!) You’ll be really thankful that you went through with all the renovations once it’s done! Think like Dori from Nemo – just keep swimming just keep swimming!
