Wovenplay
Back in September, I did a shoot for US based company, Wovenplay. They’re amazing to work with and the products are incredible. Long before I shot for them, I loved their beautiful, whimsical dress up costumes made from organic and vintage fabrics so this was a real treat to do. The location, the girls, the ponies..all so gorgeous. We actually did three different themes on different days so I’ll share some more images next week. For now, this is Audrey and Imogene..and Marcus the pony.

Ooh, we’re going back a bit V but Hazey was definitely in there. Hush is pretty likely too..I tend to use it for most things.

I’m loving that short number (and feeling very inspired to recreate a similar one myself). These photos are amazing of course, I’m sure they loved LOVED what you did for them. Dear Sheye,
A friend told me about your website. We lost our beloved daughter Lara five months ago today. She was three years and two months old, and our first born. She went to sleep and never woke up and we still don’t know how or why she died. I read your words and look at your gorgeous pictures and I share your sorrow. I thought of Ava when I lit Lara’s candle tonight. Perhaps she was there to welcome our little one to wherever souls go when they leave their bodies. We are trying to build a garden for her in our neighbourhood – the website is up – you can see a picture of her if you like. She and your Ava aren’t too dissimilar – both blithe spirits, both curly-haired moppets, both danced through life. Love. Anna
hey sheye – i am in the US, but am dying to know where you find your vintage (or vintage-inspired) clothes for your girls. it is such a labor of love to search for these items online. i was curious if you could shed some light??
