A Shangie Production

Earlier this week, I rang Angie.  “Lets go location scouting”, I said.

So today, scout we did.  And giggle.  And snicker and poke and sing and laugh and shove.  Because that’s what sisters do, right?   And along the way we happen to get some pretty sweet snaps too.

(Oh, and as for Shangie?..anyone who has a sibling is well aware of the other name you have growing up.  It’s the one born from a combination of you and your brothers and/or sisters names all rolled into one, uttered by a  confused parent trying to come to grips with which child they’re in fact speaking to.  Hence, my sister and I, we’re Shangie.)

You are a great team – beautiful photos and I love the light.
As for Shangie – I have a sister, too, and we also used to be called by a “combination name”. Actually we had two “combination names”, depending on whose name Mum or Grandma started with :)but unfortunately neither sounds as nice as yours.

Love the photos. It must have been an adventure to scout for locations. That’s on my to do list too! :) As for the combination name, I have 3 kids and a dog. I haven’t combined them yet, but I pretty much run through all the names until I get the right one. hahaha Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful! I so *heart* the way you process all your images!! I’m an only child so I never had that problem with my parents but coming from 20+ grandchildren, my grandmother wouldn’t combine names but would usually run through a list until she got to me!
