We’re not leaving and you can’t make us.
Well not yet anyway. According to the ticket, we should be home by now. At this point we’re supposed to be entering the post-holiday blues..surrounded by half un-packed suitcases and useless souvenirs. In actual fact, we changed our tickets and are still waking up to a beautiful Californian Summer. We do realize this probably can’t go on forever so we’ll do our best to get on a plane this Tuesday, landing us home Thursday. No promises, but.

I would imagine your mother will be on a plane coming to get you if you don’t get back soon!
So glad that you’ve had a lovely time though.
i don’t blame you! enjoy that vacation as long as possible!!!
You’re still in California?!?! I’m here, too! How fun!! I should be true to my Sheye-stalking self and go find you :) My sister Jessie and I are staying in Venice Beach this entire week. If you haven’t made it over here yet, you should! I’ll take you down to the boardwalk for a huge slice of pizza and a funnel cake :)
If there’s a girl in a tattered vintage frock with mascara running down her face sobbing while grabbing onto your ankles, pay no attention. It’s just me. Wishing… K xx
Enjoy your holidays, many beautiful memories are formed when you are travelling
It’s a totally different reality!
Love to you, the home soil really is special though x x
Aren’t you clever?!! It is difficult to leave paradise…I didn’t want to come either but I was there for two weeks not five!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip, what’s left of it. Have fun and be safe.
Love, Denise.

Aren’t you sneaky Sheye?! I was sure I was going to be reading your first ‘back at home’ post, and you’re still on this side of the pond! Love it! Enjoy the next couple of days and safe travels! (We’ll be following behind you in a couple of short weeks!) XO
Wow, I’ve been gone for almost a month, and I sure didn’t expect to hear you were still here in Sunny California. So glad you have enjoyed yourself. You really should have set a time and place where some of your blog followers could have come and said “Hello”
Isn’t it dreamy?! California can be intoxicating. Enjoy your stay, now you know why we put up with earthquakes every now and again. :)
Just rub it in, why dont ya?;-p

We’d love to keep you in California!
that is how you know you’ve had a fabulous vacation. :)
I drive past that sign you mentioned a couple posts back every time I work in Laguna Beach. It’s nice to see the places one visits thru other visitors’ eyes.
Hmmm ~ if you feel the need to stay longer – there are other parts of the country we’d be happy to show you if you are so inclined!
;)
glad you are enjoying the trip!
safe travels!
xoxo
Well heck I miss you already! Hope your flight is safe and quick…Blessing shi~
I happened to stumble across your blog earlier today, and I literally read the whole thing from start to finish. When I put my little boy to bed this evening I couldn´t help but hug him just a little bit tighter than usual. I even rocked him to sleep, something I haven´t done in months. And for the first time since I very unexpectedly discovered that I am expecting our second child, I stopped feeling robbed, and started feeling grateful.
Thank you for sharing Ava with me. Thank you for making me see just how blessed I really am. Thank you for all the amazing photos of your beautiful family.
I pray, hope and wish that you are all in a better place, if not as good as it once was.
