Sanity is Over-Rated.
It seems like eternity since I posted, like two weeks even. It’s just reflective of my crazy, crazy days at present…made up of Eye Candy, sleep deprivation, client orders, renovating, Xmas preparations, raising three children and missing a fourth. I’m yet to master that thing called multitasking. Where Is My Mind, indeed.
I have lots to share, I’m so excited to show off the incredibly gorgeous decorations and gifts that have been arriving each day but they need their own big beautiful post so I’ll be back with that very soon.
Here is Mason deep in thought on Sunday. Pensive, reflective, focused. It’s serious business, one’s letter to Santa.

Equipment: Canon 24-70 2.8, Canon 5D
Processing: Own actions
Melody: Emmy The Great “Where Is My Mind’ (Pixies Cover)

I like The Great Khali better than John Cena (runs and hides from Mason!)
Sheye, this is precious. My son’s list had some similarities, particularly the phrase “my very own”…. he wanted “his very own laptop” (so he wouldn’t have to share mom’s computer” and he also wanted a COUCH for his room(?!). And a “tall scooter” and a pair of jeans (keep in mind he probably he has 7 pair of jeans).
I love my kids’ Christmas lists… I always save them.
The pictures were wonderful!
Blessings to you and your family! :-)
I am so glad you were able to capture those pictures! My 3yr old son wants a cowboy hat and boots this year. How cute is that!
Aren’t boys just so much fun! I love the pictures, but I always do. I also like that you said what equipment you used and how you edited it. Great idea!!!
Sheye – sweet pictures! Cracks me up that kids use the computer to ‘write’ their letters to Santa, ah times have certainly changed since my kids made their lists. I’ve missed hearing from you. I can’t wait to see all the beautyfull lovely ornaments you’re getting. I bet each one takes your breath away. Can’t wait for that post. Thinking of you and your family.
Denise
I didn’t forget about Ava’s ornament, I am still searching for the perfect one! LOVe his list! how CUTE!

Hey sheye – photog question. Does a higher ISO make a picture grainy or is it a lower ISO. I took a picture as the sun was going down, I was in the shade. I don’t have the settings handy to even tell you what the ISO was. You can look at it if you want, here’s the link http://i78.servimg.com/u/f78/13/08/79/06/sunfla10.jpg. Thanks, Sheye, Denise
I’m still working on Ava’s ornament, but it should be in the mail this week (it’ll take some time to arrive though, since it’s coming from Belgium). I hope you’ll have a little bit of room left on your tree for a late arrival!
Love the pictures! Great list. Santa’s going to need a biiiiig bag!
Love,
Tania
Just wanted to let you know that the above comment was actually written by me. It seems that something went wrong with the identification.

Sheye, what a cutie! Lil just wants everything she sees. :sigh: Gotta love those three year olds. ;o)
HUGS!
P.S. The ornament went out yesterday, I think they said it would take about 8 days to get to you. I think…
How old is that boy? I swear my Jack (8) has the same list… although he received the ‘pooping’ candy dispenser last year… reindeer, not a polar bear. If I find it, it’s yours!
Getting Ava’s ornament to the post office today! Can’t wait to see pics of the rest. I’m sure they are all beauty full!
Take care,
Kim
how sweet is that list hehehe
Can’t wait to see Ava’s tree.

Hahaha! That’s quite a list!!!
I am still searching for Ava’s ornament. Nothing I find is Super Princessy enough! But I should be able to mail it by next week, I hope you don’t mind.
I love my boy’s Christmas lists! I think I have every one since they could write! Reading them helps bring the memories back. He will cherish the photos when he is older!
Grace and Peace, Dana

Oh honey…do you think you could just wrap Mason up for me and send him for Christmas? Your boy is amazing and he made me laugh out loud today. If I bought him a real polar bear that poops out jelly beans, do you think that would seal the deal? Lemme know… :)
Luvs,
K
Hes soo sweet! His Christmas list is absolutely adorable!
Polar Bears that poop jelly beans, huh? Now thats one awesome toy!
hiya, s:)
he is just too cute!!! i’ve seen the jelly bean pooping reindeer but not the polar bears, lol!!! and he wants a motor bike that pops wheelies, tee-hee, with a steering will for turns:P what a great list!!!

Aww that is just precious!

MMmmm that’s given me some ideas for Thomas….excellent.
Love,
Jane
So cute! I love his typing styles. Typical 1-finger male typist..lol
Can’t wait to see the other Ava decos =)
That’s just gorgeous!
Fabian used to write lists like that. Now at 13 he doesn’t know what to ask for :-(
OMG that is hilarious! ROFL!
I love this one “One big Hot Cars racing set that I don’t have to build” – I’m thinking he’s not going to be your handyman husband type when he grows up!!!!
“My very own phone” as opposed to those ghastly ones you have to share with your family? Places to go, people to SPEAK to when you’re 8!!
Thanks for the chuckle Mason! xoxo
Hi! They sell those polar bears that poop at the store i work at. =)
Mine are still debating the merits of naughty vs. nice. Are the Santa gifts worth giving up the naughtiness for?
This is a nice list. I wouldn’t mind the motor bike myself. But I prefer my jelly beans out of a bag, not a polar bear’s, er, bum.
