Bowl-O-Rama

The kids love ten pin.  I don’t quite get it myself.  My hands hurt.   I feel conspicuous.  I’m surrounded by strange people.  And I don’t just mean my own family.  Still, with Aunty Angie in the mix we had a whole lotta fun trying to master the art.

We decided to introduce some good old improvisation so every round had a new theme, with each of us taking turns to choose.  There was some bowling backwards, with fear, to the Sound of Music, with confusion, and best of all, a la Elvis.  I spent 2 hours laughing and I’m sure the boys, and the rest of the room for that matter,  thought their mother and aunt had gone completely mad.

Don’t you love Mason’s stance?

Me looking for the kids ball.

Luca’s usual anti-paparazzi pose.

Macey fitting right in with the other strange people.

My Jesh spot is still available, after a couple of buyers couldn’t go ahead (I think we’re all jinxed!)..If you’re able to turn up in Bondi next week for three days of amazing, please email me.

I have the biggest post I’m putting together for orament pictures – every single day the courier delivers a new batch to our door from literally all corners of the globe..I can’t explain how exciting it is and what amazing, amazing things have arrived.   I want our tree to be perfectly perfect to show them off and I’m collecting part of it tomorrow so very soon I’ll start sharing :)

Thankyou so much for all the Eye Candy enquiries over the past month, the next round of workshops will be smaller in numbers and will run from around April.. I will update here as soon as I have dates.

Love, Sheye xx

    Sheye,

I hope Mason got a strike in the first picture!! You and Auntie Angie look like two of the coolest chicks. Love that you wore dresses to bowl. You two rock! My kind of girls. I wore heels to the Christmas tree farm on Saturday and got some strange looks and comments. :) Looks like Team Luca and Mason had a blast. They’re so handsome! Thanks for the pictures. Made my morning.

    Much love from NJ,
    Suz

  2. You forgot to mention the best part about bowling: the SHOES!! Horrible aren’t they? Very cute pics!

You can see a preview of Ava’s ornament on my blog since it will be arriving late (if I’m able to wrap it up today and send it out tomorrow it’ll still take more than a week to reach you).

    Love,
    Tania

    Hi SBS;)
What fun! I’m dying how gorgeous you look at the bowing alley! I love it. No wonder you felt conspicuous. You must have been quite a distraction to the “strange” bowlers in the other lanes checking you out!
Always love to see photos of you and those scrumptious boys!
    Love,
    Christy

but i won’t…could you please, please pretty please tell me everything you can about the shorts your super spunky son is wearing. i have a 3 year old (turned 3 today!!!) and i am on a constant quest to find clothes that are not the standard kmart boardies, and that’s a whole lot tricky in mount isa! (we only have kmart lol)

  21. Sheye says:

    Aww, thanks Chel :)
Maceys shorts are Fred Bare from last Summer I think…I buy a lot of it online from Helen at The Kids Room in Sydney (www.thekidsroom.com.au)..She posts the same day and is wonderful. They have 40% off at the moment I think!

It was definately a strange and fun day… Luca’s comment about the hippy persona (just be smelly and punch people…) still has me in stitches!
The dress is a couple of years old and was originally bought at CRUISE – also called FREE PEOPLE, and it cost about 15 dollars… That shop does occasionally cough up a few good dresses…
