Kate mentioned today that the new blog takes a long time to load..Is anyone else having this issue? If so, can you please leave me a comment. I’ve changed to displaying five posts at a time instead of ten so hopefully that helps!

the new page is a tad slower for me to load, but almost everything these days on my dinasour is slow… so take that with a grain :)

It does load slower than your previous blog, but I agree with the others: it’s so worth the wait!
I wish if I clicked my heels together three times I’d be in Oz (without having to spend a day on the plane and paying a huge amount of money!).

It does take a bit longer to open, but once it’s open everything else is just fine. And it’s totally worth it because the new design is wonderful! As are the Indigo/Dorothy shots! She’s such a cutie!

Love the new site and loads really quick for me. But…I just bought
a new iMac with dual blah blah blah and everything is pretty quick on it.
Probably a personal computer issue, may have nothing to do with your site.
Dying to know if you’ll be doing another Explore workshop…I delayed on this
one due to kids still out of school but now that they’re back in, more time
to learn. As usual…everything looks wonderful!

Hi Sheye, It’s taking a good deal to load….it looks like it’s the size of your images. You might consider making them webready before putting them up. They’re great shots, of course!!!

The photos and stuff load up alright but its a little slow when clicking on comments to leave one and when coming to your actual blog like from clicking on the link in favourites if that makes sense but that might not be a problem with your blog….But i do love the new one it is fantastic and so are the shots as usual :)

Hi Sheye- I don’t find it too slow here in the U.S. but I do soooo miss the music. Is there music and I just can’t hear it? Everything in my life has been breaking lately and I want to make sure my computer isn’t on the fritz along with the TV, camera, IPOD, and foot, oh and the broken picture frame too- but that would be my kds!

very slow for me too but I aint complianing as it adds to the excitment of what is going to pop up. I usually click on it then go and do a quick job and it’s there when I come back, much to my delight.
I did go babk on one of your previous posts to see Avas smilling face and noticed that it would only bring uo one entry at a time and they would be duplicated (photos and wtiting).Loving reading though so do not panic. It’s fine and definitely worth it.

LOVE the huge lollipop! where do you get those nowadays?
Is there a less expensive lens than the 24-70mm that is faster than the kit lens? I can’t afford that one yet but the kit lens is driving me crazy, and the 50mm f/1.8 has me backing up and crawling up on furniture…
The site is a little bit slower but not annoyingly so.
Regarding evolve: is reg. still open? When I clicked before it didn’t come up, but now it does and I can get all the way to the paypal page where the price is still $195 even though its past the early date…

Not sure about the lollypop – Indigo’s Mummy had it handy though I think she mentioned Mary Ryan Bookshops?About the lens – you could consider getting something similar to the 24-70 in a cheaper brand like Sigma as I think the range is perfect. If you’re using the kit lens, you’ll still see an improvement in quality. Personally, I would still recommend saving for the Canon – if you only own one lens, that should be it!
Can you please email me where you’re getting that link for Evolve as everywhere I check it’s the non-early bird price? Unfortunately, I’m only taking Evolve registrations if you’re an Explore participant. I will more than likely run both courses again in the New Year.
