In recent times, some of my images have been taken without approval and potentially used in ways I would never agree to. Of course, I have no problem whatsoever with people using photos from this blog to go with their own blog entries that honor Ava and her memory – in fact I am incredibly grateful that people so kindly take the time to do just that. My new watermark is more in response to problems I’ve had at Flickr than anything else but I do have to make it very clear that permission is required for use outside that purpose..

So, in answer to your q Dani and all who’ve taken images for blog use, please don’t worry, I could never be upset that someone was sharing Ava’s light :) S xx

   these photos are delish, sheye. i noticed on the pictures that you have “do not duplicate”.
   in an earlier post of mine, i copied a couple of ava’s pictures and and used them to tell her story. i will remove those if you’d like for me to; just drop me a line… i checked your site before doing so and saw no disclaimer. so, i used them. (i did however put in the post that they were your work).
   again, please let me know if it’s a problem.

    ah sheye, I used Ava’s portrait on my blogsite to tell her/your story and to warn other parents. is that ok???? As a photographer myself, I know how upsetting it is to find your work being ‘stolen’ but I didn’t think you’d mind for this. Gosh I hope this is ok, i can remove it.

    PS have ordered one of the beautiful camera bags!!! i can’t wait to get it – oh and great minds think alike – similar story telling on our pictures – spooky girl spooky XXXX

    Yes Annie, that is more than fine..thankyou so much.. I would hate people to stop blogging about Ava or think they can’t use my images for their posts…It’s a completely different thing that some images have been used for so I need to watermark properly from here on.

    Thank you sheye, I’ve been trying to work out how I do this so you get a link to my blog?? Tecnically challenged?? Nope – just have my usual frantic Mum’s busy brain thing going on! Its http://www.glittababe007.blogspot.com I did a special entry for Ava a while ago and also posted it on British expats (you know how silly us pommies can be with the heat and all)!!!!You’ll see what i mean about the commentary i use on some of my pics – oh and the dreaded feather boa and tutu shots!!!!

    I am loving The Ivy! OOh those little knobby knees…Gigi and Ivy would certainly have a blast dancing and prancing about together, although I have to say its getting harder and harder to keep Our Little Gigi dressed long enough to snap some pictures! Is it just my kids or do all little people insist on being nekkid?!
