Luca Livin’ in the Seventies.
We often say Luca is an old soul. He just knows stuff. I think he’s been around more than once but his most recent previous life has to have had him hanging out in the mid seventies. He’s just so, well..hippy. As I’m typing this out, he’s telling me we’re not to cut down any trees when we landscape. As I paused to look at him, he casually gave me the peace sign, oblivious to the subject of my post here.
Seeing as I’m so into the whole retro vibe with my photography lately, we make a good match, when he’s up for posing that is. These images are more your panel van/chicco roll flavour (sorry to my overseas readers!) rather than a tree hugging/peace rally feel but still, I’m digging it.
Peace Out.

Sheye –
You need to write a book or something. Your words are like little bits of magic. I wish I could even come close. And the pics…well, they’re just icing on the cake! Gorgeous as usual my dear!

Dude he can so totally be in D’s band. D has the farrah fawcett locks and Luca has the Dukes of Hazzard look.
He can do the peace sign while D meditates, because they are soooo peaceful kids, aren’t they?

For your international visitors

and the uber cool panel van/shaggin’ wagon a 70′s icon

The shaggin wagon! That translates Suss. If the vans rockin, don’t come knockin.
He’s got a rock n’roll heart that Luca. Peace out.

I have photos that my FIL has done of DH as a little guy and they are exactly like this. I will have to do a flash back on my blog. Even the colours are similar!
Man he is spunk – I am going to lock up my daughter!

Thanks for your sweet blogs and especially thanks for your kind comments to my little sister, Leslie on her blog. She’s the one who just lost her husband and is suffering so. Your own tragedy and strength had touched our hearts long before our family suffered this loss. We appreciate your kindness and pray for you and your family as you continue to struggle with loss. I heard once of someone who didn’t worry about people’s birthdays, but marked her calender with the dates that those she loved had lost loved ones so she could send a note on those days. What a thoughtful thing. Anyway, thank you and God bless you. (Your family is beautiful!) Karey
