OMG. That is horrifying! Although, I think I understand completely. I once found a snake in my house. I called the police and the fire department (my husband was no where to be found) to remove it! The scariest part was me holding the snake hostage with my broom while I waited for help to arrive.

oooh…when I see pictures like this I’m quite happy to live in cold, dark Norway!
I once found one, about a quarter ot the size of the one in the pictures, in my bedroom..had to get my mum to remove it..it was creepy…*lol*

Yep, we breed ‘em big up this way! Rofl! The idea is to swat the little horrors before they get that big! Either that or, as said before, get the Flick man (or woman) in quick!

That said, take heart! At least it wasn’t a snake!!! ;)

Oh Sheye, as much as I hate to have huntsmen spiders anywhere near the house I had to laugh out loud at your sense of humour.
I am so glad that FIL was there to rescue you and the spider :-)

OMG Sheye, are you psychically connected to my monster children??? Not even 24 hours since I read this (and didn’t show them), walk into my bedroom and there is your spider’s twin, sitting there right on my bed, yes, even on MY side of the bed! I freaked and got a shoe ;), Amy said (with a straight face) “it’s just plain wrong to murder a creature because you’re scared of it Mum”, so I get the guilts and given that my father and FIL live 100s of miles away and Andrew’s at work, scaredymum has to go get a big tupperware container and I swear I nearly had a conniption on the spot trying to catch it. As I was looking around for some cardboard to slide under it, kind Katie put me out of my misery by telling me that Sophie had put a FAKE SPIDER on my bed! The little rotters were ROFL at me and I was just sooooo glad it wasn’t real. Don’t let your boys read this comment LOL Evil children I’ve raised here….
