Dear Sheye,
I have been following your blog for a few months and I am at a loss of words to say to you. All I can think of is that you are truly an amazing role model for all of us parents and Ava is truly a gift from God for all of us. She looks like an Angel and that is what she is. I taught my 3 year old daughter, Arielle, all of Ava’s rules and we practice car safety now and again. Thank you for your weekly inspirational blogs and amazing photography. I have been following your blog for almost one year now. Ava’s story has touched my heart in so many ways. I had included her in my blog last year, but that blog has been deleted and I now have a new one. This isn’t a reminder of Ava as such. I don’t need to be reminded of Miss Ava. Ava is in every little bit of pink i see. When i see pink i think of the Ava’s stories you have shared with us(both words and through your photography) and i think of you and your family Sheye.

Ava candles are to remind me of the good. The seven skirt rule springs to mind when i look at the candles at the moment.
Each August i will add another pink candle.

Sheye, Once long ago I commented on Ava’s beautiful cardigan and you told me it was from Oilily – and about 4 sizes too small, but she loved it too much to let it go. We only met through the forum, and I cried with you and your family – such heartbreak… many, many people have come through to my blog because of the balloons I keep there for Ava. I am a terrible blogger and find it easier to whip out my pen and journal to scribble down my daily thoughts…. I read about your terrible loss a while back and you, your family and your beautiful Ava are rarely out of mind. Whenever I see a beautiful sky, hear the precious giggles of children having fun or see a pink balloon I think of her. I know I do not know her directly but I feel as though I do, when I think of her I see her running about laughing, sunshine in her hair, her beautiful smile…When I am feeling too lazy to play with my children or tired of them whining I think of Ava and I think of how you would give anything to have her by your side, laughing, cying, whining….every second is precious.
I just wanted you to know that she lives on in so many people and is in my thoughts all the time. Thankyou for letting us get to know her.
