I thought of you ofcourse and Maddy must have been on the same vibe, maybe there sisters put them all up to it because she woke at 2:45am to discover the ‘rat’ her daddy had purchased for her! Did she go back to sleep? Not on your nelly!

First time she has started Christmas during the wee hours, she was very excited.

I love that you are embracing the moments you have- making THIS time count and matter most. It is in letting go that I too, have learned to be a better Mom and person. It is not an easy lesson. One I wish I never had to learn 'the hard way'. I hope that you will continue to grow and learn and live and love 'in new ways'. Even when it means letting go.<br/>Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. I hope your Super Princess had an amazing Christmas in Heaven. I'll bet she laughed and played with the other angels and peeked down at you as you all awoke so early...and she probably grinned with glee at the happiness of her siblings. And she probably winked at God for the good job He did at 'softening your heart' to the things of this world you can't control. Instead, you are creating a world of love and life and laughter. A new kind of life that will never replace the one with Ava...but one that holds its own beauty just the same.
