Cupcakes and carousels.

With sheer delight I get to announce that my beautiful Aunt Vandra and cousin Keira have opened their very own cupcake shop. But not just any cupcake shop, this place is an amazing sight to behold. Filled with so much colour and whimsy, it is an experience just to set foot inside. With my love of all things merry-go-round, they’ve christened it the perfect name of Carousels Cupcakes. (http://www.carouselscupcakes.com.au) If you’re around Brisbane, you just must call in and pick up a box of yum for yourself.

I was lucky enough to get an invite to the launch party last weekend where we just had to sample at least one of each flavour..purely for quality control you undersand. It really was worth the 17000 calories just to hang out in such a gorgeous little spot for the afternoon. Of course, as always I end up stalking the childen in the room but how could I not? They were all so cute!

And best of all? They have created their very own tribute to my darling girl, in the form of “The Ava” cupcake. Thankyou V&K. The Superprincess would approve.

   Oh my! I can think of a million words to sum up my thoughts on a shop devoted to cupcakes, but I’ll go with one: divine! And the Ava cupcake is so lovely…. how very thoughtful.

   Every time I open your blog and see a new post (and I check every day) it’s like Christmas morning! My day is instantly better.

   Regarding your former post, the artwork for Luca’s bedroom is “sick” as my two teenage boys would say. And that’s the highest complement you can get!

   I am wishing that I could pop over to Brisbane for an Ava cupcake. Hmmm, do you think they’ll ship one to the U.S.? :)

   Next time we are in Bris I will definitely pop in and by some ‘Avas’ :) Wouldn’t she love all the little girls who will go to the shop and want to buy one of HER cupcakes.

    oh Sheye these pictures are amazing! I don’t know how you do it!!! Trust me, I have tried to take pictures from every angle in the shop and still haven’t been able to capture what you have! And we just peeed ourselves laughing at that picture of macy.. it’s perfect!!
