Well we’re all flu ridden and cranky around here. Just when we think it’s just about gone, it re-appears more vicious than before. (And yes, Susannah..it’s really the flu. We have aches :p).

On a good note, the boxes are being assembled and the donation pile is growing – we are making progress. Now that we can see the house empty, it’s fun to work out where things will go and dream up a million different must have furniture pieces. I’m a home magazine addict – I’ve been collecting since around year 2000 and I’ve got a mighty wishlist!

And speaking of hoping and wishing and praying – I’ve found the most amazing architect to redesign and extend the house. Of course after ringing him, I felt like I should just go and burn $100 to get used to the feeling of hemoraging money but I’m allowed to imagine. Have a look here. I’m so in love!

Here is a pic of the front lawn, looking back up the driveway. It’s so pretty and has such a country estate feel.
I’ll turn the camera around the other way once the architect has been :p

Some snaps from the last week…

Luca just hanging out at home (along with the odd wrestle with Mason as he passed by thrown in).

Ivy, a bit happy to be home from kindy.

At the beach the other day..I took along a couple of Ava’s little things to include in some photos of the kids and I with the most amazing Barb from Jinky Art. As it turned out, Luca wasn’t up for the family photos so just before we left I got him to hold this little heart of Ava’s. I bought it for her while I was still pregnant and it hung in her room, until she pulled it down one day. She was playing with it the day of her accident and it will always be so special to me. Even though he looks grumpy, I love the softness of it.

Carrie sent me this tutu for Ivish..How sweet is it??

Well that’s it for now!

S xx
