Popping In.

I’ve popped in to say a huge, huge thanks again for all those who’ve supported us along with Mandy and in turn, the Mater hospital in buying Ava’s prints. Tonight Mandy has let me know that she is so very kindly donating $800!! I will be organising to hand it over in the next week or two – just as soon as I can pop up to Brisbane. We are so thrilled at the response. Mandy has asked at her blog if anyone would like to email her a picture of Ava’s illustrations up in their homes and I have to admit, I would just love to see this if anyone is willing :)

I’m happy to say that I’m feeling a little more restored emotionally and ready to tackle the packing.  I’m actually really looking forward to being ruthless with sorting. Lets see how I’m doing a month from now..

I hadn’t planned on taking bookings for shoots until I’ve moved but because I got a new camera this week, the 5D, I’m too excited to wait!  I’ve opened my calander for shoots and am available for bookings on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. I will also be travelling to Townsville around early to mid November..I have one spot remaining there. Email me if you would like an info pack sent.

Now it just wouldn’t be a post without photos, would it?

   Sheye, I was so pleased to see you had blogged again. I only came across your blog 2 weeks ago, and since Ava and your beautiful family are never far from my thoughts.

   Through your beautiful photos, your story and your words i have changed the way i look and participate in our lives.. especially with my child.

   Thankyou for continuing to share, i hope the move goes ok, such a draining event in any case, look after yourself.

   When i eventually come to Brisbane I look forward to booking in for a shoot with you:)

   Also can you let me know where you get your beautiful childrens clothes from, i recognise some of them as Oilily, im always on the lookout for nice, bright clothes.

    Oh thankyou Alinta! Yes, Oilily is my number 1 favourite and makes up a lot of Ivy’s wardrobe. If it’s not Oilily it’s usually Fred Bare or Country Road.

    The boys are usually in Fred Bare, Country Road or Seed.

    Oh Sheye ~ what a FANTASTIC post to read! Gorgeous pics as always ~ congrats on your new camera…. I finally bought a Canon DSLR last week so I share a little of your excitement. Maybe I will be able to learn to use it some time soon lmao :P

    Thanks Sheye – nice boys clothes are so much harder to find than girls. Ava’s beautiful prints should be arriving any day now – they are so beautiful and i look forward to the day when we have a pink bundle and they can be in her room:) unless i can talk my husband into having them in my sons room!!!

    I was so excited to see that you had a brand new post today. You have been in our thoughts and I have been wandering how your family was going with the move to Brissie.

    We have four of Ava’s stunning prints in our baby girl’s room. Every time I play with Savanna in her room I always look at the prints and think of Ava. They remind me to cherish every moment.

    I have sent some pics off to Mandy and actually wandered whether or not it would be appropriate to send you some pics as well.
