Breathing again.

Just. It’s impossible to put into words just how draining this week has been – much more than I could have imagined. What I do want to say is just how overwhelmed I am with the incredible support so many of you have shown us. We have been carried by kindness through the most difficult of days..

For every beautiful card, email, phone call, flower and gift after beautiful gift, we are so grateful. To be able to sit and unwrap the most heartfelt presents on her day meant more than I could adequately express. I wish I could say I have been able to email every single person individually to express my thanks but alas, I have not. We are still coming up for air after facing such a huge hurdle and also attending a ceremony this morning for Ava and one of her angel friends, Yasmine. It was hard but it was also a truly beautiful service and has been a little bit of healing for today.

So thankyou, 1000 thankyous, to every single beautiful soul who has kept us in their thoughts and prayers and gone out of their way to hold our hands through this week.
With so much love.

WOW Sheye! That picture is just BEAUTY FULL. I’m sure your darling Super Princess would have been smiling away.

I know I say this for many of us, that I wish with all my heart to take just a tiny bit of your pain away, but I know I can’t. I’m so so so so so sorry!

Oh Sheye I wish we could have done more but nothing could have made it better. I am amazed at so many people giving so much love to your Super Princess Ava.

That photo is stunning Sheye, I can almost hear Ava’s giggles as she sees them all coming her way.

This is such a lovely post to read. I truly believe that what you have received this week is in direct proportion to what you give. You may be overwhelmed by the support you’ve received, but only to the same extent that we are all overwhelmed by and in awe of your generosity of spirit, even on the most difficult of days in your life. You get back what you give out to the world and I’m not a bit surprised by kindness shown to you when you’ve connected so real-ly, so completely and honestly with us all. :)

    love always

I agree with everyone else. It is you who deserve the thanks. Thank you for sharing, even when it isn’t easy, and allowing us to expand our capacity to feel, to love, and to be. You are amazing… and while you will always feel most fortunate to be chosen as Ava’s mother, She also had a gift in you.
