congratulations on your award nomination Sheye – you have every right to feel very proud of your work as it is simply stunning.
As for those gorgeous girls of Tracey’s…sigh, that is my most fav photo of Miss E (the first one) and you have captured the spunky little cherub and all of her personality to a Tee!!! Can’t wait to see what Tracey finally chooses (now if I looked like Tracey you may find me in front of a camera more – gorgeous lady, gorgeous friend – and I know I don’t have to tell you that!!!)

Reading this post brought tears to my eyes – “happy tears” as my kids say. It is like music in my soul to hear you speak about your enthusiasm for photography again – it really is soul food for you honey. You are exceptionally talented technically but you know how to make your subjects feel and look beautiful and like they are the most special person you have ever photographed. We all feel that way. You have the most amazing career ahead of you if you choose to take it that way…and if you choose to continue to just please your friends and family and word of mouth stuff (which is also fine by me!!!) you will continue to bring many smiles on many faces with the memories you create. Love you immensley. xxx

Noel and I were talking tonight about the little steps we keep making and we spoke so fondly of your re-emerging joy out of doing something you previously loved.

Are you preparing your acceptance speech? I think that you are the best photographer I’ve ever seen. I so wish I could have you do Abby and J.T. You always capture the subject’s personality so well…. which may mean that my kids would have horns on their heads if you were to photograph them. :-) It is wonderful to “hear” the excitement in your “voice.” Congratulations!

I love seeing in frames, I love the beauty in the ordinary, I love my camera, I love that when I see images I hear too. But you do deserve it! God knows you should get an award, especially the way my mother goes goo goo over every picture you post on here! When you don’t post here every day it’s like she didn’t get to have her morning coffee! I am betting others feel the same way bout your blog too!
