Just for you, Bellaboo.

I wanted to do something amazing for Isabelle’s birthday today. I wanted to send the most beautiful gift or find the perfect words or take the most amazing photographs. I wanted to achieve the impossible and try and make today okay. Then I feel angry at myself.  I, more than most, should know better.

D, I hope Belle’s day was beautiful.. I hope she liked the balloons we sent.. I hope some smiles found you through the tears…

Luca and Mason sat with me this morning and picked out the things to make this little card up for Belle..

My beautiful friend and amazing photographer, Kate, from Inhouse Studios fulfilled my request to find something pink and beautiful to photograph in honor of Belle and she happily obliged..I just adore what she’s done – thank you so much Kate :)

   Deareast Sheye,

   If only you knew how much these pictures meant and the effort you put into them. You have made me smile and tear with the love I feel from them, not from sadness. You have accomplished what you got angry at yourself for, you made the day brighter and made me think such nice things about Isabelle.

   I know you know the heartache of these days and I know what you most wanted to do and that is what I most want to do for you and neither of us can achieve that magic wish, so the next best thing is to find Belle’s beauty and to make sure her spirit stays strong.

   You sent something wonderful to Belle who loved balloons, she called them bumballoons and people would laugh when she would ask for one. Maddy once let a balloon go by accident when she was only 6 and Belle handed her her own so quickly, she was on 2. She never wanted anyone to be sad and I think she had beauty in her soul.

   Your pictures captured that beauty and I felt it when I saw them. So you have given me more than you think. Please thank Kate for her beautiful pictures, they made us all ooh and ahh.

   I said all I can give Belle now on her 5th B’day card is my love and Noel and I thank you for giving so much to us and sending so much to Belle.

   Thank you Sheye, Luca, Mason, Ivy and Crayton, for all the loving you provided yesterday. Some light for a day that makes your heart ache with missing.

   Sheye, give ech of your children a kiss and thank them for being so beautiful.

   Thank you Sheye for the hug you managed to send all the way down here to, that was an extra bonusxxxxxxx
