Please tell me she’s still a baby.

Because Susannah said she’s almost not. And I want to pretend that’s just plain wrong and that she’s still very much in babyland but photos like this one show otherwise. Lately I’ve taken to letting her run around in nothing more than a nappy. Who cares that we’re officially in Winter – it makes her look more baby. And what do you mean she really can hold her own fork now? I refuse to let her grow up… If I just keep talking in baby talk and making her wear shoes with buckles, will she stay a baby? Is that illegal?
If you’re wondering why there is a bubble in her photo, the boys were standing off to the side blowing them, much to her joy :)

I remember looking at my eldest boy and thinking how grown up he looked at times at around Ivy’s
age. When I look through photo’s I realise he WAS just a baby like Ivy is now!!
He is 16 years old now.
    Enjoy your baby xx

Of course she is still a baby! My 2+ year old is still a baby. And she’ll tell you too. “Are you a big girl?” “No, I a tiny baby.” Okay, that works for me.

I feel the same way about my baby – and he’s 4 years old now. I’m clinging on… so I’ll let you cling too :). We’ve made a deal… he is Daddy’s big boy, but Mummy’s baby. I can live with that…

I’m with Rachael when Zac was that age I thought he had grown up but now at 13 when I look back he was still a baby just like Ivy is now :)

Well Indy is 14 and she is still a baby, so I will let you beleive that Ivy is still one too.. But truely, your lucky she is so petite, you can “pretend” a lot longer. Get her one of those all in one, (with feet, and anti-scratch mittens) rompers and she’ll pass for a three month old… I PROMISE! ;p
