I’ve changed my mind.

Ivy is not cute. In fact, she is pure evil. I’ve had not quite 3 hours sleep and a tradesman will be on my doorstep this morning, ready to bash away for the entire day so my fantasies of crawling back into bed at some point are just that. *insert big old tired sigh* So anyway, to keep me from eating my young, I’ve done some proofing in the wee hours.
Here’s my contribution for the day. Or is it night?

These were taken yesterday – the other boy is Nick, our neighbour and the boys partner in crime. They’ve taken to spying on the woman next door, who they’ve lovingly christened “Mountain Moose”.

Playing leapfrog…

Ava strangling Ivy, again.

I could post more but I’m slipping into a coma so best go. I can hear some Choc Butternut snaps calling me for breakfast.

xx

Guess what? She’s still cute :p

And she can speak. (When she’s not eating iron animals).

Children are amazing.

Because they can spend an hour mastering not falling off a plank of wood. (Click if you’d like to see it bigger.)

I’m not jumping. I’m flying.

is what Ava announced today. It’s no coincidence that many of my Ava photos are of her jumping – bed, lounge, her Dad’s back…they’re all fair game. The only reason she’s almost nakie is because we were inbetween the 19th wardrobe change of the day. I do love her concept though – jumping means you come back down again, flying indicates she’ll just keep on going. Soar, sweet child, soar.
