Rachel {Tweed Heads}

Last weekend I did a wonderful shoot with a family down at Tweed Heads..Three absolutely gorgeous girls (who came from gorgeous parents) made it so easy and it was a truly inspiring day – Rachel was so calm and laid back and our great time at the beach made me want to move there.  Here are just a few favorite images.

It’s all smoke and mirrors.

Here’s Little Miss Ivy having a blast in her activity center. Don’t get the wrong impression though – she generally hates this infant prison and protests very loudly whenever I approach it. I just happened to catch her in a very brief, very seldom happy moment.

My little Marilyn.

Well actually, we usually call her Brigitte – as in Bardot – but here she’s a little more Marilyn, don’t you think? Every day she gets a little bit older, wiser and able to outsmart me.

Before we argued over what she’d wear each day – now she just goes off and gets her self dressed, head to toe, while I’m not looking. Brave would be the woman who’d try and wrestle her out of her chosen ensemble de jour.

I’d forgive her anything though – what a gorgeous little creature she is.

Days like these…

make me happy to be a mummy to energetic boys! We took Luca Mason and Ivy down to Rainbow Beach (Ava was left home suffering the chicken “pops”, again).. The boys had so much fun while I played the completely paranoid mother screeching to get back from the waves every 23 seconds but still, it was so nice and we all had a ball!
