Missing You Already..

In June Jennifer, Alex, Lucio and Aria came to town for holidays..We hoped so much that our kids would like each other – the last time they’d met the boys were tiny and the girls weren’t even thought about..it was so long ago. An hour after they’d arrived, it was so much more than we could have hoped for. They didn’t like each other, they loved one another. It was like they’d spent a lifetime together and it was such a beautiful thing for us Mummies to watch. To see our two girls hugging at every opportunity (except for the odd wrestle over a tu-tu or tiara) and hearing the boys belly laugh every five minutes…what a wonderous thing!

It’s been six weeks since they left and the children ask daily where each other has gone..Ava got on the phone to Aria the other day and said “Hi Aria. Come home now.” So sweet and sad all at once..I truly wish they could play together every day, it’s just not right that we’re 800kms apart.
