Where oh where is my baby?

I once had a delightful child, her name was Ava. So gorgeous was she that I even went and had another baby, just so I could get another one like her. Then one day she underwent a transformation. She became 2.5. And things got ugly. Now I’m left with this other woman in my house who is demanding, self centered and the epitome of stubborn. We clash once every 43 seconds and she’s even taken a swing a few times. Yes, all my prayers were answered when I was given a daugter BUT no amount of frou frou makes THIS stage bearable. Counting the seconds until she’s 5.

Here is the offender herself, taken today.. A brief moment inbetween threats and bribes.

Well, as you know, i have one myself. i wished so hard for a little girl who was all girlie girlie and wanted to paint the world pink. and i got her. and she is so much like me that i wonder if that saying”be careful what you wish for” is more poignant that i realised….aria’s current obsession is lipstick. hmmmm it does not wash out easily from all of those beautiful pink things darling….

Well yes, Jennifer, since YOUR daughter came to town, mine wants LIPS every single day. I have to watch where I put my makeup bag. I hate that she looks so much better than me when we go shopping. :p

I like your plan Susannah…”No honey, you cannot have that Prada dress. I remember when you threw your plastic Barbie heels at me”.
